I did it! I ran the 5K and I did run the whole way - not that there is anythig wrong with walking. My last offical 5K was 18 months ago and I did it in 50 min 31 seconds. Today I did the 5K in 43 min 35 seconds.
I am not sure how I will do with the 10K in two weeks or the 10 miler in four weeks, but I feel great today! I am improving and that is all that matters. Not that I came in 7304 out of 8720 or 224 out of 389 for my division. I try not to compare to others - just improve on my time. So I am competitive but only against myself. LOL
My weight was up this week but I ate a couple times out and had one Mexican fiesta on Thursday evening but I am not worried. I am just getting back on plan. I can do this!
Just go out there and do it!
